TEPA and Texas A&M University have created an internship through the university’s Trading, Risk, and Investments program (TRIP). The program, which is designed to incorporate the additive practical experience of multiple internships (3) with the academic experience from learning in the classroom, will give TEPA members access to a select group of interns.

Current Texas A&M students are invited into the TRIP program only after a rigorous selection process. Students who are accepted into the program are required to complete three internships, which includes various extracurricular activities related to the program. At the end of each internship, students are required to make a formal presentation to TRIP board members, which includes TEPA Director, Shannon McGriff.

Internships are the heart of the TRIP program and represent opportunities for students to gain valuable insight and experience with corporations, their corporate cultures, and employee expectations. The internships also provide an extended interview period for board members, and access to a valuable source of motivated labor for short periods of time (10 to 16 weeks).

TEPA members who participate in the Texas A&M University’s TRIP program, will gain access some of the top interns for Spring and Summer of 2022, including:

  • – Exclusive access to relevant talent pool of students
  • – Hands-on in selection process
  • – Increased visibility on college campus
  • – Ability to actively contribute to the employees of the future
