Bill A03166, filed in the NY State Assembly, requires paid registration and bonding of brokers, compensation disclosure and limits commission sharing. The Energy Professionals Association (TEPA) is actively working to engage a legislative consultant/lobbyist in New York to advocate on behalf of the association and represent our interests. You can find the full text of the proposed legislation here.
Our efforts have to be strategic, thoughtful and collective in order to provide maximum effectiveness and achieve results that are fair and reasonable. For these reasons, we need the support of the entire broker and consultant community. We will advocate on behalf of the broker and consultant community, act as a resource during the legislative process, and provide timely status updates and guidance to all involved in the efforts.
Collectively we must raise $60,000 in order to be effectively represented in Albany. When contemplating contribution amounts, please take into consideration the size of your organization as well as the revenue generated from business in New York.
Please support our efforts by selecting your contribution amount below.
Automatic recurring monthly contributions amounts are available
