TEPA alters name to reflect gas interest

TEPA is substituting “Energy” for “Electricity” in its name. The Texas Energy Professionals Association is making the change because more of its members are interacting with the natural gas industry, said Paul Ward, president of the non-profit 501(c)(6) group. TEPA formed in 2005 as a self-regulating trade group for the proliferation of electricity aggregators, brokers and consultants.
